Monks at the Central Khurul (Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni) in Elista began the annual tantric ritual cycle on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The series has run for more than two decades. Torgyak, a rite to remove obstacles, is held today in two sessions: 9:00-11:30 a.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m. Jinseg (fire puja) is Thursday, October 1 at 9:00 a.m. Yangdrub, for luck and prosperity, is Saturday, October 3 in two sessions. Believers may bring wealth vessels for consecration September 30 through October 2 in room 317. The public is invited.
